According to AutoNews (subscription required), not only will GM continue with the development of very profitable vehicles that are close to launching (Chevy Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon), but also the company will continue development on the Cadillac Lyriq (an electric SUV) as well as the Cruise Origin self-driving vehicle. This emphasizes the bet the company is placing on the next era of transportation and the future of the automotive business.
