Bloomberg is reporting today that Tesla has reached a settlement with the state of Michigan concerning the company’s federal lawsuit challenging the ban on direct-to-consumer vehicle sales. An announcement could come as soon as tomorrow. In Michigan, Tesla operates one gallery in an upscale Detroit suburban mall where it showcases the vehicles, but cannot sell them. The law in Michigan even bans Tesla from operating service centers in the state.
